The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT
services and performance of the organization's Systems.
1) Manage and maintain enterprise servers, networks, and storage solutions.
2) Implement and enforce system policies and best practices.
3) Perform system updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
4) Provide technical support and troubleshooting IT-related issues.
5) Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
6) Collaborate with internal teams to enhance IT infrastructure and system efficiency.
7) Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
8) Manage user accounts, access controls, and system permissions.
9) Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurements and
support.
10) Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
11) Any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to the role.
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications and Experience
1) At least three (3) years of relevant experience in system administration.
2) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3) Proficiency in Windows and Linux server Operating Systems
4) Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and network administration.
5) Strong knowledge of Systems security best practices.
6) Professional certifications -Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Red Hat
Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Equivalent
7) Meets provision of chapter six of the Constitution
