Description
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in modern languages, linguistics, translation, interpretation or another field.
Work Experience:
- Five years of relevant experience as an interpreter/ translator/language assistant working for an international organization is desirable.
- Experience providing translation and interpretation services in support of investigative, legal, judicial or oversight functions is an advantage.
Language Requirements
- Mother tongue-speaker level proficiency in French, Arabic and English
- Fluency in the following languages would be an advantage: Spanish, Chinese, Pashtu and Portuguese.
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
- Professional qualifications in translation and interpretation are an advantage.
