Qualification
  • Diploma in Journalism, mass media, film and related fields from a recognized academic institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience at a similar position.


Responsibilities
  • Install, set up, and maintain multimedia equipment such as audio-visual systems, cameras, projectors, and recording devices.
  • Offer technical support during live events, lectures, presentations, and virtual sessions to ensure smooth multimedia operations.
  • Operate and oversee audio, video, and lighting systems throughout events and productions.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to multimedia equipment and software.
  • Assist in assembling and dismantling multimedia equipment for events, training sessions, and institutional functions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure proper storage and handling of all multimedia equipment.
  • Support the recording, editing, and production of multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and digital presentations.
  • Ensure high-quality sound, lighting, and visuals in all multimedia productions.
  • Manage, maintain, and update multimedia software, systems, and digital platforms used within the organization.
  • Keep an updated inventory of multimedia equipment and recommend necessary repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
  • Work collaboratively with academic, administrative, and production teams to meet multimedia requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards when handling technical equipment.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to staff and users on the proper use of multimedia tools and equipment.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
