INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST

We are seeking an insurance verification specialist to join our central insurance verification team to ensure that our patients have a seamless experience navigating the complex interaction between our clinics and their insurance. This role will include confirming insurance coverage for patients and network statuses for our providers. If you are a process-oriented individual with an eye for detail, you will be a good fit for this position.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits and ensures plans are active

• Ensuring that the doctor the patient is seeing is in network with each patient’s insurance

• Verifies patient insurance coverage via phone or online for home health visits/office visits

• Communicates with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients to obtain the most current and updated insurance or referral information

• Clearly document detailed insurance benefits in the patient’s chart

• Answer patient-specific questions for insurance for other clinic or Patient Services teams
