We partner with a range of client businesses, providing bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable management, payroll oversight, budgeting and forecasting, and advisory support across industries.
Role Summary
As an Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of business clients, supporting their day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close processes. You will escalate key insights and exceptions to the Controller or outsourced CFO, collaborate across clients, and apply a business-support mindset beyond traditional ledger entries.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:

- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-client environment (e.g., firm or outsourced accounting services).
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or other cloud accounting systems.
- Solid experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Good knowledge of A/P, A/R, payroll-interface accounting, vendor management, and client-service orientation.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to move from data to actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and explain accounting concepts clearly.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios and deadlines in a remote-friendly environment.
- High integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
Preferred:
- CPA or progress toward CPA licensure.
- Experience working for a growing business or start-up environment.
- Familiarity with budgeting/forecasting tools, cash-flow modeling, and KPI dashboards.
- Exposure to M&A due diligence, capital-raise support, or fractional CFO services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full month-end close for designated clients: maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients: answer questions, clarify transactions, and support vendor/payable and invoice/receivable workflows.
- Maintain accounts payable (procure-to-pay) and accounts receivable (invoicing and collections) processes, ensuring accuracy, aging monitoring, and cash-flow visibility.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting support, cash-flow modeling, and ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Support audit, tax, and due-diligence readiness: prepare schedules, documentation, and liaise with external advisors when needed.
