📌 Position Details:

✔ Title: Investment Accountant

✔ Locations: Mexico (Chihuahua), Peru (Lima), Guatemala (Guatemala City), Kenya (Nairobi)

✔ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST

✔ Work Mode: 100% on-site with hybrid option after 6 months based on performance

✔ English Level: Advanced (B2- C1)

Job Summary:

The Investment Accountant will play a key role in accounting and reporting for investment entities. Responsibilities include capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, and financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with fund agreements and regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Prepare cash calls and distribution notices

✅ Reconcile capital balances between accounting module and GL

✅ Record journal entries and prepare financial statements

✅ Process monthly P&L rollups

✅ Maintain entity-level waterfall models for promote calculations

Requirements:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

💻 Proficiency in Excel and investment accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva)

🔍 Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles
