About Fuzu

Fuzu was created to provide every person and organization with tools to succeed and grow. We’re a team of passionate optimists who believe the future of Africa is bright—and we’re building a platform that helps youth and underserved communities access the opportunities they deserve. If you're someone who thrives on ownership, learns fast, and values impact, Fuzu might just be your next big leap.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager – Social Impact Initiatives to independently manage the end-to-end implementation of multiple special projects that drive employability outcomes across East Africa. These initiatives, often in partnership with development agencies, NGOs, and governments, aim to improve career access for youth and underserved populations through Fuzu’s digital tools and platform.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on projects across different regions and partners—working cross-functionally with internal Fuzu teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success) and engaging regularly with funders, employers, and ecosystem partners.

Your work will directly shape how Fuzu drives inclusive employment and scalable impact in African job markets.

  • Manage multiple concurrent employability projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met.

  • Coordinate across internal teams (e.g., Product, Design, Marketing) to align execution with project goals.

  • Engage with implementation partners—NGOs, development agencies, and ecosystem collaborators—to ensure smooth collaboration and compliance with donor requirements.

  • Track project metrics, report on progress, and prepare donor- or partner-facing updates.

  • Support employer engagement efforts, ensuring Fuzu’s platform meets the evolving hiring needs of partners.

  • Contribute to project design and proposals for new employability initiatives, including budgeting and planning support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, especially in social impact, employment, or workforce development domains.

  • Strong experience working with or within development, NGO, or donor-funded ecosystems.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with both grassroots and high-level actors.

  • Experience in budgeting, basic financial tracking, and M&E/reporting.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams—especially in remote-first environments.

  • A plus: Familiarity with youth employment, career development, digital skilling, or employer engagement.

Why Join Us?

At Fuzu, you’ll work on something that truly matters—enabling better futures for millions of people. You’ll also be part of a forward-thinking team that values experimentation, speed, and meaningful impact. We’re scaling across Africa, and your work will be critical in driving that mission forward.
