Description
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- Mandatory ICAN or ACCA qualification.
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience (NGO experience is a significant advantage).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and non-profit accounting principles.
- Ability to communicates complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations, bank reconciliations, and the maintenance of a meticulous General Ledger.
- Collaborate on annual budgets, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to Nigerian tax laws and IFRS, serving as the primary liaison for audits.
- Track grant utilization and prepare specialized reports for international and local donors.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, ensuring the timely provision of data and implementation of audit recommendations.
