Qualification & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Mandatory ICAN or ACCA qualification.
4+ years of post-qualification experience (NGO experience is a significant advantage).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
Deep knowledge of IFRS and non-profit accounting principles.
Ability to communicates complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations, bank reconciliations, and the maintenance of a meticulous General Ledger.
Collaborate on annual budgets, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
Ensure adherence to Nigerian tax laws and IFRS, serving as the primary liaison for audits.
Track grant utilization and prepare specialized reports for international and local donors.
Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, ensuring the timely provision of data and implementation of audit recommendations.
