Academic Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Management, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized University.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible experience in office cleaning, monitoring Safety policies and procedures.
  • knowledge of cleaning regulations on health and safety and ability to maintain contacts with local companies and contractors.
  • Knowledge of technical standards related to the cleaning and janitorial services, electricity and the technical systems installed.
  • Familiarity with administrative policies and procedures related to cleaning services and procedures.

Age Limit:

  • Be below 50 years old. This provision does not apply to internal candidates.

      Role Overview

      • Under the supervision of the Principal Officer, Administration, Logistics & Maintenance the incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the ECOWAS headquarters, annexes, the Liaison office In Lagos and the Residence of the President.

      Role and Duties

      • Ensure Excellent Cleanliness of all Interior and Exterior Parts of The Buildings and offices.
      • Maintain sanitary wares by washing, and placing air fresheners and deodorants, tissue papers, and liquid soap, in the toilets.
      • Maintaining a High Level of Hygiene in the Washrooms.
      • Ensures standards of cleanliness and behavior whilst on duty.
      • Reviewing work schedules.
      • Ordering of cleaning materials.
      • Monitoring of all cleaning activities.
      • Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
      • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
