Operations Manager - Girl Child Art Foundation

The Girl Child Art Foundation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to oversee our organisation's day-to-day administrative and logistical functions. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our programs, projects, and initiatives to empower young girls through the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline and optimise organisational processes to enhance efficiency, resource utilisation, and effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, financial transactions, and fundraising efforts to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and facilities, to support the various artistic programs and activities.
  • Program Support: Collaborate with program managers to facilitate the successful execution of arts programs, ensuring they align with our mission and goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies, including safety and child protection protocols.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with partners, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to support the Foundation's mission.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the leadership team, providing insights into operations, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in operations management or a related field, preferably within a nonprofit or educational organisation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills that foster a positive and productive work culture.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage complex logistical tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
