  • Administer vaccines and oversee the vaccination process to ensure proper technique and effectiveness.
  • Maintain detailed records of vaccinations, health status, and any adverse reactions.
  • Conduct regular health assessments and screenings for livestock.
  • Identify signs of illness or disease and take appropriate action, including isolation and treatment.
  • Implement biosecurity measures to prevent the introduction and spread of diseases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all livestock.
  • Prepare and submit reports on vaccination programs, health status, and any outbreaks of disease.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding animal health and vaccination
  • Train farm staff on proper vaccination techniques, health monitoring procedures, and biosecurity measures.
  • Supervise and support staff involved in the care and vaccination of livestock.
  • Ensure staff adhere to best practices in animal husbandry and welfare.
  • Plan and optimize livestock production schedules.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of feeding programs, housing management, and breeding plans.
  • Monitor and manage resources, including vaccines, medications, and equipment.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, regulatory agencies, and suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of vaccines.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
  • Educate farmers and stakeholders on best practices in livestock health and vaccination.
