Description
he successful candidates will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, account management, and strategic market engagement across Corporate, Government, leisure, travel trade, NGOs and MICE segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ Hotel sales experience preferably in a 4 or 5-star Hotel
  • Knowledge of the Hotel systems and operations will be an added advantage
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of the local and regional market
  • Highly motivated, well-groomed, and customer-centric


Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and grow corporate, leisure, travel trade, and MICE business
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and room night targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Conduct sale calls, client presentations and hotel site inspections
  • Coordination of client events and groups to successful completion
  • Negotiate contracts in line with the hotel’s pricing and yield strategy
  • Prepare sales reports and contribute to market intelligence initiatives
  • Represent the Hotel at Local and international exhibitions
  • Participate from time to time in key industry and stakeholder activities as may be required,
  • Utilize the Serena group synergy and make inter-unit sales for the Serena Properties in Africa and Asia
