- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in cost accounting or related roles within the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
- A master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certificates (e.g., ACA, ACCA, & CIMA) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost control concepts.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.

Job Description
- As the Cost Accountant at ReelFruit, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the company's costs to ensure effective financial planning and control.
- You will collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data, assess cost variances, and provide insightful recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Respponsibilities
- Cost Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of product costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead, to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor and analyze cost variances, providing explanations for any discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to reconcile and analyze inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and identifying areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements related to cost accounting procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and present findings to management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.
