Senior Reliability Engineer (Instrumentation & Control, Electrical)
Job Summary
Senior Reliability Engineer (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Reliability and Performance) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, protection integrity, control system stability, and performance of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within the steam power plant. The role provides technical oversight of protection systems, relay coordination, Distributed Control System (DCS) reliability, instrumentation accuracy, and electrical risk, while supporting outage planning, incident analysis, predictive maintenance, and plant performance optimization. The position proactively identifies and mitigates failures, nuisance trips, and performance inefficiencies to improve plant availability, heat rate efficiency, and operational stability.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electro-Mechatronics Engineering or any related engineering disciplines, or relevant experience to back up any engineering degrees. Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in Power Utilities, Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production or any asset-intensive industry; three of which would have been spent in providing independent assurance over technical control effectiveness and supporting plant reliability.
