Description


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this dynamic

managerial position is responsible for leading, developing, championing and

implementing the advocacy strategy and stakeholder engagement plans in

collaboration with the industry and thus support the delivery of Fresh Produce

Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) strategy and business plan.



Responsibilities

·
Support the design,
implementation and monitoring of FPEAK’s advocacy strategy and FPEAK’s
engagement plans in collaboration with the industry

·
Coordinate and support the creation of private sector
coalitions in Kenya, including the development of strategic documents outlining
the value proposition of the initiative.

·
Establish a monitoring framework to determine the use
and impact of actions initiated with private sector coalition and champion
network.

·
Oversee the conduct of situational analysis and strategic reviews that will inform the private
sector engagement opportunities.

·
Engage with local partners to build and cultivate
strategic partnerships to leverage advocacy opportunities with government
leadership, Ministries, other implementing partners.

·
Coordinate with key horticultural partners to generate
intelligence on the country policy landscape, and facilitate the production of
recommendations on potential pathways for private sector engagement.

·
Develop and implement tools, channels and activities
to ensure a smooth membership sign up and payment process as well as a firm
membership engagement.

·
Develop and implement membership recruitment
strategies.

·
Ensure well-informed answers to
membership enquiries, cost efficiency and system development.

·
Conduct induction
sessions for new members

·
Organizing structured feedback after events,
national/regional feedback and follow-up meetings

·
Develop and implement
a membership analysis system to ensure regular reporting on the
membership flow.
