Description
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical, production/process or manufacturing engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience working as a Technical Operator
- FMCG experience is preferred.
- Competence in operating and troubleshooting machinery, understanding technical specifications, and performing routine maintenance.
- Strong understanding of machine components, mechanical systems, and the ability to identify and address mechanical issues.
- Precision in machine setup, monitoring, and quality control to ensure consistent and accurate production
- Ability to work collaboratively with other operators, technicians, and production staff to achieve overall manufacturing objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and control machinery involved in spice processing, ensuring that equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Set up machines, perform adjustments, and calibrate equipment according to product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor the entire production process, ensuring that machinery operates within specified parameters and adjusting as necessary.
- Conduct regular quality checks on spices during production to ensure adherence to quality standards and address any deviations from quality specifications.
- Train new and existing machine operators on efficient ways to operate machines with minimal downtimes and waste generation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure their ongoing reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production output, and any quality control checks performed and deliver reports to the supervisor on the same.
- Work closely with other team members, including production supervisors, quality control personnel, and maintenance staff, to ensure seamless coordination in the production process.
- Help in creation/update and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for manufacturing to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
