To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong presentation skills.

It is an exciting time for the Finance team at Plan International. We are embarking on significant departmental transformation to ensure strong financial capability and to maximise the impact of our financial resources, particularly important in challenging economic times, for the ultimate benefit of children, especially girls.  As we embark on this ambitious and exciting journey, we are recruiting for a number of new finance roles, who will help to prepare, position and strengthen the organisation to achieve long lasting change in children’s lives. We are particularly keen to build our technical expertise and create stronger business partnering approach, so would love to hear from candidates with exceptional skills and experience in these areas on a global scale.
As the Global Financial Analyst, you will lead the financial analysis for Plan International’s corporate management reports and budgets to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the financial position and business implications. In this role you will lead the assessment and understanding of Plan International’s financial performance through timely, high quality, evidence-based and insightful analysis underpinned by strong business understanding and appreciation of political context. You will provide strategic advice to senior managers based on that analysis in order to support the successful delivery of Plan International’s mission and strategy.
You will ensure comprehensive analysis of actuals vs budget, forecasts, trends, KPIS and benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities and provide advice on response.
