Job Summary

Reporting to the Company
Treasurer, the Treasury Specialist is responsible for carrying out daily
treasury activities including, cash management, payments, collections, forecasting and
reporting, financial analysis, communication with banking partners, and assisting the Company
Treasurer with a range of tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Cash Management
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Update daily cash balance reports
  • Maintain banking relationships and functions
  • Process treasury payments
  • Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in treasury
    systems
  • Understand debt and receivable balances
  • Liaison with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate beneficiary information within banking systems
Internal and External Funding
  • Check interest on external loan facilities
  • Prepare interest letters to all internal counter-parties
  • Prepare drawdown and other letters under the loan facilities
  • Ensure that all funding transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury systems
Other Tasks
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Treasurer

Experience:
This role requires a treasury specialist with three to five years’ previous treasury experience gained in a medium or large corporation. Cash Management experience is essential as is the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders. Financial modeling experience is highly preferred.
Key Skills:
The Treasury Specialist role requires:
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Expert level in Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with team colleagues, coupled with working with limited supervision
  • An individual who is well organized and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Close attention to detail to ensure that accurate and thorough work is produced in a timely manner
  • An individual who possesses initiative, is analytical in nature and not afraid to ask questions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other related field
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred
  • CPA certified preferred

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
