Person Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
  
• Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in electrical or mechanical.
  

• Maintaining cleanliness in the machine room;
  
• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance works;
  
• Undertaking routine checks in line with their area of specialization;
  
• Sample sisal bales for quality analysis;
  
• Maintaining records of repair and maintenance of machines
  
• Maintaining updated record of all samples received and analyzed;
