Job Purpose

The Motor Bikes & Smartphone Product Manager
is responsible for managing and growing the company's Motor
Bike and
smartphone product lines. The role involves overseeing product performance,
supporting sales teams, monitoring market trends, coordinating product
availability and ensuring that the products remain competitive and commercially
viable.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Take overall responsibility for the performance of the motor
    Bikes and
    smartphone product lines.
  • Monitor product sales, customer demand, pricing, profitability and market
    performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing products and introduce new product
    features or packages.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, pricing structures, and product
    information.
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend improvements based on market needs.
  • Ensure product information is accurate and consistently communicated to the sales
    team.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Develop strategies to increase sales of Motor Bikes and smartphones.
  • Work closely with field sales teams to achieve monthly and quarterly product
    targets.
  • Monitor sales performance by branch, salesperson, territory and product.
  • Identify underperforming areas and develop corrective action plans.
  • Support sales teams with product knowledge, sales tools and practical guidance.
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, dealers and distribution opportunities.
  • Support promotional campaigns and product activation activities.

Market Research & Competitor
Monitoring

  • Conduct regular market research on motor bikes and smartphone products.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, financing terms, product features, and sales
    strategies.
  • Track changes in customer preferences and purchasing behavior.
  • Provide management with regular market intelligence and recommendations.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks affecting product performance.

Product Pricing & Commercial
Performance

  • Work with Finance and Management to review product pricing and margins.
  • Monitor the profitability of each product line.
  • Analyze sales volumes, revenue, costs, commissions and other relevant
    product-performance indicators.
  • Recommend pricing or commercial adjustments based on market conditions and company
    objectives.
  • Monitor the impact of promotions, discounts, and commissions on profitability.

Dealer & Supplier
Coordination

  • Maintain effective working relationships with Motor
    bikes
    dealers, smartphone suppliers, distributors and other relevant partners.
  • Support negotiations relating to product availability, pricing, promotions, and
    commercial terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and product availability.
  • Escalate supply, quality, pricing, or delivery issues to management.
  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential new suppliers or dealers.

Reporting & Performance
Monitoring

  • Prepare weekly and monthly product performance reports.
  • Track key performance indicators, including:
    • Number
      of units sold
    • Sales
      revenue
    • Sales
      growth
    • Gross
      margin
    • Product
      profitability
    • Sales
      conversion rate
    • Branch/product
      performance
    • Customer
      acquisition
    • Product
      availability
    • Customer
      complaints
    • Returns
      and product-related losses
  • Present product performance and recommendations to management.
  • Maintain accurate product performance records and dashboards.

Customer Experience

  • Monitor customer feedback relating to motor bikes and smartphones.
  • Identify recurring customer complaints and recommend corrective measures.
  • Work with relevant departments to resolve product-related customer issues.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding product features,
    pricing, financing, and applicable terms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics or a
    related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant
    experience
    in
    product management, sales, business development, telecommunications,
    automotive/motorcycle sales, consumer electronics, or a related industry.
  • Experience
    in field sales and distribution management is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Motor bikes dealers, motorcycle
    products, smartphones, telecommunications, or asset financing is an added
    advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the market.
