Skill & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Cooperatives Management or a related field
  • CPA (K) or equivalent professional qualification is required
  • Prior experience in SACCO management will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of SACCO regulations, including Cap 490 and SASRA guidelines
  • Proven leadership, financial management, and analytical skills


Responsibilities
  • Implement Board and Committee policies, decisions, and resolutions
  • Oversee daily SACCO operations and administrative functions
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Supervise loan processing, appraisal, disbursement, and recovery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation
  • Drive membership recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff
