Position Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented, fluent English speakers to join an exciting transcription project, where you’ll play a key role in transforming audio content into clear, accurate, and high-quality text. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a large-scale data initiative, sharpen your language skills, and work flexibly in a fully remote environment.

In this role, you will produce two types of transcripts—Spoken (verbatim) and Written (polished)—while following strict quality and formatting guidelines.

• Review and validate transcripts available in text format
  

• Switch accurately between English and the assigned target language within the same task
  

• Ensure linguistic accuracy, clarity and consistency
  

• Identify and correct transcription, grammar, and formatting errors as per guidelines
  

• Complete tasks within the defined AHT
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language Skills: Native or near-native English proficiency (open to candidates based in Kenya, Nigeria or Egypt).
  

• Attention to Detail:Strong listening, comprehension, and editing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  

• Technical Readiness:Comfortable using online platforms and able to complete Nexus onboarding.
  

• Assessment Requirement:Must pass a 10-question Pre-Knowledge Test (PKT) with a score of at least 7/10.
  

• Reliability:Stable internet connection and ability to independently manage tasks in a high-volume queue
