We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent  communication skills, and have the ability to work well in a  team-oriented environment. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for  dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the  accuracy of medication orders.


Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent  communication skills, and have the ability to work well in a  team-oriented environment. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for  dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the  accuracy of medication orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
  • Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of medication orders and patient information
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Manage inventory and order medications as needed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and technology
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

  • The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to reach, bend, and stoop
  • The ability to use a computer and other pharmacy technology

Working Conditions:

  • This job may require working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or other healthcare setting
  • May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
  • May require exposure to hazardous materials or infectious diseases
