We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent  communication skills, and have the ability to work well in a  team-oriented environment. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for  dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the  accuracy of medication orders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain accurate and complete records of medication orders and patient information
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Manage inventory and order medications as needed
Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice
Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practice
Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and technology
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
The ability to reach, bend, and stoop
The ability to use a computer and other pharmacy technology

Working Conditions:

This job may require working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or other healthcare setting
May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
May require exposure to hazardous materials or infectious diseases
