Description

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably within the food & beverage, hospitality, or FMCG sectors.
  • Prior experience working with or selling into the HORECA channel is highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of the foodservice industry and consumer trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.



Responsibilities

Prospecting and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and approach new business opportunities within the HORECA sector.
  • Build strong relationships with purchasing managers, chefs, F&B managers, and business owners.
  • Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide product solutions.

Sales Execution and Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales & new accounts targets for the assigned territory or account list.
  • Implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns tailored to the HORECA channel.
  • Follow up on leads, prepare quotes, and negotiate terms to close deals effectively.

Account Management:

  • Ensure timely deliveries and monitor stock levels in client outlets.
  • Resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery, or payment promptly.

Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Gather and report feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide insights to the marketing team to support HORECA-specific initiatives.
  • Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key account updates.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with the sales, logistics, finance, and marketing departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support trade marketing activities such as sampling, product demos, and promotions in HORECA outlets.
