Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness. Environmental Science or relevant Engineering field.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in Agri-tech, Agricultural Inputs and related products, IoT and sustainability.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of Kenya's floriculture and horticulture value chain is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the floriculture and horticulture sectors.
- Develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies aligned with revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline using structured sales processes and CRM tools.
- Conduct product demos, site visits, and solution presentations tailored to client needs.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers that clearly articulate ROI and impact.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with farm owners/directors, managers, agronomists, and procurement departments.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with farm owners/directors, managers, agronomists, and procurement departments.

- Technical Understanding
- Sector Knowledge (Agronomy + Floriculture/Horticulture Operations)
- Knowledge of floriculture and horticulture crop Inputs & Environmental Management
- Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies
- Develop a strong understanding of Interpretation & Advisory Framing
- Develop a strong understanding of wireless sensor technologies, dashboards, and analytics.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet client requirements.
- Translate technical features into clear business value for decision-makers.
