Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Epidemiology or related field.
Experience:
- Bachelor's and 4-6 years of experience, or Master-s and 2-4 years of experience, or Doctorate and 0-2 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good analytical, presentation and reporting skills
- Good experience on surveillance activities
- Knowledge and experience in training and capacity building
- Excellent inter-personal, multi-cultural and team building skills
- Strong computer skills particularly in spreadsheets, data visualization (maps, graphs, charts, etc) database (i.e. MS Power BI, Tableau, SAS, SPSS, Stata, R) and other statistical applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and fluency in English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Previous work with stakeholders (NCDC, FMOH MLSD, FMOH DFDS, NAFDAC, FMoEnv, Fed Min of Agric & Rural Devpt, NIMR, PCN, etc) is an added advantage
Competencies:
- Supervision: Works independently and reports to the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
- Decision Making: Working within project strategy and policy guidelines, makes decisions with regards to work responsibilities and is accountable for them
- Responsibility over data or information: Has access to information within project and is responsible for program data generation and management.
- Responsibility over assets: Overall responsibility assigned assets in the program.
- Ability to work independently.
