Description
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology /Computer Science or related field.
- A professional Security Certification such as (SANS, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, CNSSP, CFFP, NSE).
- Network Administration Certifications such as (CCNA /P)
- 5 years of work experience in an enterprise IT environment as an IT Security, Network or Infrastructure professional/ specialist.
- Proven experience supporting IT security and implementing IT security technologies.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance in corporate IT assets and services with requirements established by information security, business continuity and risk management policies.
- Remediating vulnerabilities in I.T infrastructure (software & hardware).
- Administering endpoint protection systems and act on the threats reported.
- Administering Patch management systems and coordinating with Systems administrators to update applications automatically or on scheduled maintenance.
- Reviewing logs from Log Management systems and responding to actions required to mitigate threats identified.
- Providing Technical support to the Information Security & Resilience team in responding to IT Security Incidents.
- Maintaining IT Risk Register and coordinating Risk forums.
- Ensuring that the security features of selected technology solutions and their deployment architecture are evaluated by the Information Security team.
- Verifying and testing regular routines for backup of the technology environment and data.
- T Department coordinator for resolution of IT Audit Findings & Internal Control Findings
- Coordinating with Information Security & Business Continuity Officer in the preparation of IT Disaster Recovery Plan and conducting of Disaster Recovery tests.
