Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in the field of sales and marketing, with a minimum of 4-5 years in managing sales and marketing teams and building business plans for related product fields.
• Ability to quickly understand the technology and digital aspects of the mini-grid business.
• Experience in sales in rural areas, previous experience in the mini-grids business is a strong plus.
• Passion for energy access and a commitment to lasting impact.
• Develop commercial initiatives to drive electricity sales, appliances sales and development of income generating activities using our energy services.
• Developing a concept note that outlines the vision and benefits of productive use promotion.
• Avoiding duplication of efforts by mapping ongoing programs related to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) promotion and rural economic development.
• Improving the financial sustainability of appliance and PUE financing projects.
