  • Master’s degree or equivalent in digital marketing, fundraising, customer experience or marketing technology. A post-graduate professional marketing qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in progressively more responsible roles of digital experience orchestration or enablement in the intersection of technology and marketing.
  • Significant experience leading digital experience enablement/orchestration at scale in an international environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering strong results through effective management and communication
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted, influential and effective relationships within an international organization
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, virtual working environment.
  • A clear strategic marketing technology thinker with attention to detail as required and with ability to synthesize complex concepts into actionable plans and lead them to completion.
  • Change Management – influence and leadership skills
  • Agile Project Management – the ability to effectively manage large, complex projects is critical to success in this role, as is the ability to effectively incorporate continual improvement through ongoing testing and multiple feedback loops.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. This role requires not only technical proficiency in English, but the sensitivity to identify potential concerns or confusion in communication, as well as a strong ability to negotiate win-win solutions to problems.
  • Understanding of World Vision’s Child Sponsorship model, or digital subscription products/services with digital experience.
  • Understanding of international development and empathy for people dealing with poverty or oppression.
  • Experience working effectively with virtual teams.

Lead enablement of the digital-first experience roadmap

  • Actively lead the digital transformation enablement of the sponsor experience globally, the transition from paper-first to digital-first experience and the full digitization, automation and simplification of the experience delivery
  • Based on the commonly agreed digital-first experience vision and roadmap, lead the enablement and implementation of the re-imagined, digital-first sponsor experience and the related capabilities and processes across all 30 fundraising offices
  • Lead across global and local stakeholders and ongoing projects to identify, develop and scale the related new and improved technical capabilities and business processes that are required for enablement and orchestration of the digital-first sponsor experience according to roadmap.
  • Provide leadership support and influence into technical and field-related global decisions to ensure alignment with and enablement of sponsor experience, innovation and retention objectives and to ensure continuous improvements of all field features and content to reflect the digital-first experience vision and roadmap.

Lead implementation and scaling of the digital sponsor experience

  • In collaboration across all 30 fundraising offices and global stakeholders, lead global scaling of the proven, globally aligned digital-first sponsor experiences, related journeys and touchpoints
  • Collaborate, provide guidance and direction to the global Mobile App and WV United 4 sponsor portal roadmaps and sprint plans to ensure full implementation of the digital-first experience vision and roadmap
  • Provide guidance to fundraising office local digital frontends, portals, apps and MarTech platforms to ensure implementation of the digital-first experience vision and roadmap
  • Represent the existing, improved and new global capabilities towards fundraising offices and global teams and lead the training, guidance, implementation and scaling to ensure the capabilities are fully integrated to MarTech platforms and leveraged in digital sponsor experience
  • Understand platforms and technology needs and lead related requirements to align and meet the needs to ensure the full enablement of the digital-first experience across the partnership.
  • Lead the execution of the sponsor experience innovation of the new and improved features and interactions on these front-ends in alignment with the respective teams, including 2-way digital connection testing and scaling
  • Develop clear communication, guidance and support to implement key components of the roadmap and to ensure prioritization for smooth implementation.

Co-Lead Digital Innovation Pipeline

  • Collaborate with Digital Innovation Experience lead as they establish a digital-first sponsor experience innovation lab, pipeline and framework, inclusive of methodologies and processes for co-creation, design and testing of digital innovation ideas and concepts, tracking and consolidation of results and global scaling of successes across the fundraising and field offices.
