About the role
The Finance Manager will oversee the college's financial operations and provide reliable financial insight to leadership. The role is responsible for budgeting, reporting, cash-flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, and the effective stewardship of institutional resources.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
- Manage cash flow, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and financial reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
- Support audits and provide financial guidance to college leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- CPA(K), ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, including a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, reporting, and Kenyan tax requirements
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
