Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • NIA/ARCON certification.
  • 3 - 7 years of experience in a reputable Architectural firm with a strong portfolio
    showcasing diverse projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (ideally with Revit experience as well).
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Good powers of observation.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA):

  • Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Excellent problem- solving, negotiation and consultation skills.
  • Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models.
  • Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, industry trends, and technological advancements.

Description

  • Our client is seeking to hire a creative and skilled Architect to lead all aspects of architectural work, from initial planning to overseeing construction.
  • As an Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of new building projects, as well as expansions or renovations, in accordance with client needs and financial resources.
  • Your role will involve collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver functional and visually appealing designs.

Duties

  • Identify through consultation clients’ requirements, approximate budget, timetable and possible needs for future expansion.
  • Create detail plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations.
  • Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
  • Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project.
  • Modify new or existing plans as required.
  • Prepare scale drawings and contract requirements and submit for bids.
  • Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
  • Follow architectural trends and advancements.
