Description
- Lead end‑to‑end planning, design, and execution of industrial and corporate construction projects, including factories, processing plants, warehouses, and administrative buildings.
- Develop detailed engineering designs, structural calculations, and construction drawings aligned with international standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to support project scoping and investment decisions.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, process engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, project schedules, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and proactively resolve technical and construction challenge
- Support procurement by evaluating materials, equipment, and contractor proposals for technical suitability.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates for senior management and global engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Masters degree is an advantage.
- COREN registration or eligibility is compulsory.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in industrial and corporate construction projects, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Demonstrated track record of leading end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale engineering projects.
- Project‑management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical expertise in structural design, industrial construction, and civil engineering principles.
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale industrial projects within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or similar.
- Strong project‑management capability with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
