Qualifications/special skills
- Undergraduate studies in either of these Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data science, Cyber Security;
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) b. Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent);
- Have graduated with a university degree Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme. Do you meet any of the above criteria? If yes, please indicate which one and attach proof to the application.
- Please note that you will have to provide an official certificate at a later stage. Applicants should have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams. Ability to draft news articles and/or social media posts in desirable. Ability to design surveys and polls is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation in website updates
- Adding and editing accredited organizations to the website
- Uploading documents to repository
- Editing contents of civil society webpages
- Support Registration processes of the various meetings including working on the list of participants
- Develop and conduct a Series of Client Satisfaction Survey – including analyses to feedback to the clientele – especially the Committee of Permanent Representatives.
- Draft Accreditation Memos for organizations that have submitted accreditation requests for review
- Support effective communications with accredited UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholders in line with UN mandates and guidelines.
- Support the day-to-day management of internal Major Groups and Stakeholders databases;
- Other tasks, as requested.
