Description
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably Science / Commercial)
- Project management approach such as PMI, Prince II or PMBOK
Work Experience
- 2 years experience
- 1 year IT project management experience and a sound understanding of ITIL standards and best practice within operational environments.
- Experience with a reputable organization
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring that all projects are executed in line with established project management guidelines and processes.
- Support the implementation of project activities as per the approved scope from MTN Group.
- Participate in product and service steering committee (SteerCo) meetings to provide progress updates and capture action points for follow‑up.
- Prepare and submit routine project progress updates and reports as required by the business.
- Track project timelines to ensure that activities are executed within approved schedules and quality expectations.
- Support the handover process of completed project components to respective internal stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing and updating project timelines, including interdependencies across activities.
- Ensure all assigned project tasks follow customer‑centricity guidelines.
- Provide administrative support in managing project contracts and procurement documentation.
- Monitor and escalate project risks to the Project Manager for intervention.
