Job application procedure

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts in the service of Kaliro District Local Government. Applications should be addressed to the Secretary Kaliro District Service Commission, P.O Box 56, Kaliro in Triplicate on PSC Form 3 (2008) not later than 20th March 2021. Applicants must attach certified copies of Academic Documents. The Application forms are obtained from the Public Service Commission Offices, Farmers’ House, 2nd floor, Parliamentary Avenue Kampala, and District Service Commission Offices

Job purpose:
To drive and maintain Local Government vehicle in accordance with the transport policy; and as directed by the supervising officer
Qualifications:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in the English Language.
• Valid Driving Permit of Class C or D. i. Driving vehicles for official duty and assignments;

Responsibilities

i. Driving vehicles for official duty and assignments;

ii. Carrying out basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle;

iii. Reporting major technical mechanical faults to the supervising officer;

iv. Maintaining basic records regarding the vehicles as instructed; and

v. Ensuring the safety of the vehicle while on duty.

Job Requirements

Required education: High, secondary school
Required relevant work experience: 12 months
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
