Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Plumbing Technician for the restaurant. The Electrical/Plumber will be responsible for maintaining the restaurant's electrical and plumbing systems, ensuring their functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Qualification & Experience

Education

  • Relevant certifications or training in electrical/plumbing disciplines (preferred but not mandatory).


Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance, ideally within a hospitality or commercial environment.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and plumbing issues, including wiring, fixtures, and drainage systems.


Knowledge, skills, and abilities


  • Knowledge of garden care, plant species, irrigation systems, and pest control.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Plumbing Maintenance:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of the restaurant's plumbing systems to detect and address leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.

  • Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, drains, and valves as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and health standards to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.


Troubleshooting and Repairs:

  • Diagnose electrical and plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed repairs.


Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to local and national electrical and plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Provide guidance to the management team regarding necessary upgrades or modifications to maintain compliance.


Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with other maintenance staff to manage cross-functional projects and tasks.

  • Communicate effectively with restaurant management to report status updates, recommendations, and completed tasks.
