Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR option), Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional certification and registration with IHRM
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within healthcare or a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR policies, compliance frameworks, and employment regulations, with demonstrated ability to apply them in a healthcare setting
  • Proven experience in core HR functional areas including recruitment and workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance management
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and support both clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS), data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and decision-making
  • Understanding of healthcare-specific HR dynamics including clinical staffing, regulatory requirements, workplace health and safety, and workforce retention challenges
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive employee and organizational information
  • Ability to align HR strategy with business objectives, support organizational growth, and drive employee engagement and culture initiatives in a clinic or hospital environment
