Aeronautics
University degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management.
Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills.
Experience of working in a material cost control role and supervising the smooth supply of materials in line with maintenance requirements and budget, ideally within aviation or manufacturing.
Experience in contract management.
Knowledge of inventory management.
Advanced understanding of materials management data and systems.
Knowledge of aircraft components/parts.
Ability to read, understand & interpret approved maintenance documentation e.g.; IPC, RSPL, AMM, SBs etc · Knowledge of lean techniques.
Knowledge of aircraft parts airworthiness certification (EASA, FAA) KCAA and customs regulations relevant to aircraft parts desirable good understanding of IATA resolutions and industry rules.
Membership of an appropriate professional body will be an added advantage.
5 years working knowledge and experience preferably from aircraft maintenance or in a technical field.
Drive contracts negotiation by analyzing and reviewing the requisite materials data.
Operationalize existing contracts and agreements.
Monitor and control contracts performance – CSP, PBH’s, GTA’s,Adhocs.
Generating management reports regularly or as required.
Review and management of materials cost.
