Reports To: Presiding Bishop

Salary : 45,000 Kenyan Shillings


Job Summary:

Firebrand Nation is seeking a highly organized Office Manager to oversee administrative, operational, and coordination functions of the ministry.


The role requires an individual with strong management experience, a heart for ministry, and the ability to work effectively within local and international ministry contexts. The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring excellence, accountability, and alignment with Firebrand Nation’s vision and mission


Responsibilities

1. Office & Operations Management

  • Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth and efficient ministry functioning.

  • Establish, implement, and maintain administrative systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Supervise administrative staff and ensure clarity of roles and accountability.

  • Manage schedules, calendars, records, correspondence, and filing systems.


2. Ministry & Program Support

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to Firebrand Nation programs, events, and mission outreaches.

  • Coordinate meetings, trainings, youth conferences and any other ministry activities.

  • Support planning and execution of both local and international ministry engagements.

  • Ensure ministry operations reflect Firebrand Nation’s values, culture, and standards.


3. Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a central point of coordination between leadership, staff and ministry partners.

  • Manage internal and external communications, including emails, reports, and official documentation.

  • Liaise with ministry partners and visiting teams as required.


4. Mission Trips Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate mission trips and visits, including hosting international guests.

  • Manage pre- travel logistics, schedules, accommodation, and transport.

  • Travel with visiting teams within Kenya as needed.

  • Support and attend ministry missions, events, and outreaches, including those occurring on weekends or late nights.

  • Train and coordinate the protocol team to ensure excellence in guest experience.

  • Act as the main link between guests, leadership, and local teams.


5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare administrative and operational reports for ministry leadership.

  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.


6. Other Duties:

  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the leadership to support the smooth running of the office and ministry functions.


Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Ministry, or a related field.

  • At least 1- 2 years experience in office management.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a church or ministry environment.

  • Proven management and coordination experience.


Preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of Lean principles such as 5S and Kaizen is an added advantage.

  • Experience working with international ministries or cross-cultural teams.

  • Strong understanding of faith-based organizational operations.

  • Experience supporting conferences, trainings, or large ministry programs.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace

  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
