We provide an excellent curation of products & personalized customer service and are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to spearhead and drive strategic expansion initiatives. The COO plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's future, leveraging their operational expertise to ensure continued success in the dynamic retail industry.



  • Responsible for scaling of operations, teams and processes to support the growth of the company.
  • Drive marketplace growth and sustainability by overseeing supplier on-boarding and training.
  • Formulate and execute growth strategies for efficient retail operations, overseeing the supply chain for timely procurement, inventory management, and optimized distribution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards, maintaining quality control measures and enhancing relevant processes.
  • Provide oversight of all operational team activities, assess, implement, and optimize technology solutions for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, fostering an accountable and customer-centric culture within operational teams through recruitment, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
  • Manage operational planning and forecasting, performance tracking and management.
  • Monitor & manage the operations of all departments/teams; operations, logistics, inventory, sales and accounts in accordance with overall company goals.
  • Monitor and ensure the company meets all daily and monthly sales targets in line with the company's annual sales revenue.
  • Budget forecast and development, profit & loss management, and minimizing costs.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years in an operations role, preferably in the retail sector
  • Extensive experience in senior or executive management roles within retail or a related industry
  • Experience in managing operational teams or large projects
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong leadership ability and innate drive for excellence
  • Strong analytical skills, effective leadership skills and high integrity
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment
  • Capacity to challenge and improve processes
  • Proven strategic, operational, and leadership abilities with a significant impact on business results
