You will initially be deployed as an Executive Housekeeper but your duties and functions may be changed at the discretion
of the company. Your primary reporting will be to the General Management Manager


You
must comply with all lawful instructions issued by the Company and devote all
of your time and abilities during working hours to the Company. During your
employment, you may not commence any other employment or engagement whatsoever
without approval, in writing, from the Directors of the Company.

Job Description

  • Daily inspection
    of Apartment rooms, public areas and employee staff locker rooms.
  • Daily briefing of
    Housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinating the
    preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and a public area with the
    maintenance department.
  • Immediately
    attending to guest requests.
  • Responsible for
    cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire apartment blocks.
  • To regularly
    inspect guest rooms, VIP rooms and corridors, lobby, public toilets, etc.
    to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
  • To effectively
    handle all guest complaints concerning Housekeeping, taking corrective
    action to prevent recurrence and convert the guest into a repeat
    customer.
  • Coordinates
    proper actions with other departments, and informs General Management
    Consultant.
  • Ensures all
    housekeeping staff is thoroughly familiar with the Apartment's emergency
    procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may
    occur.
  • Maintains a
    monthly overview of the vacation- and public holiday balance of all
    his/her staff and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the
    Management.
  • Ensure that
    Apartment rooms are made as per company standards.
  • To come up with a
    housekeeping budget.
  • Maintain par
    stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms.
  • Organize inventories
    with Accounts and General Store for linen and fixed assets.
  • Develop and
    implement Housekeeping systems and procedures
  • Prepare reports
    for management information.
  • Assist the Purchase
    department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.
  • Verification of
    supplies consignments.
  • Organize on-the-job
    training evaluate its effectiveness and share training topics in advance
    with the management.
  • Approval of the
    Functional Manual of the department.
  • Recommend
    recruitment of new personnel, in case existing ones are not up to the
    task.
  • Ensure all
    maintenance problems are reported on time and resolved.
  • Follow up with
    out-sourced Laundry (White Rose) that they deliver quality service
  • Advise management
    on equipment to be used and facilitate the same.
  • Assumes
    responsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled to do so.
  • Other duties as
    assigned.
