Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial activities and ensure the smooth running of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent numerical skills, and a proven track record in financial management.

Duties

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development.
  • Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis, support decision-making, and drive business growth initiatives.
