The Territorial Supervisor shall be responsible for promoting business and sales in the given territory of operation. They will evaluate the MSUG CS business and functions in the region to drive sales and demand for MSUG products.



The post holder will be required to consistently engage with the medical fraternity of professionals, practitioners, health workers and care givers and will therefore need to maintain good business relations in the fraternity. They will be required to supervise sales teams in the territory.




Responsibilities

The Territorial Supervisor shall be responsible for promoting business and sales in the given territory of operation. They will evaluate the MSUG CS business and functions in the region to drive sales and demand for MSUG products.



The post holder will be required to consistently engage with the medical fraternity of professionals, practitioners, health workers and care givers and will therefore need to maintain good business relations in the fraternity. They will be required to supervise sales teams in the territory.




  • Ensure visibility of company’s products at the outlets, display of company’s communications materials at the outlets/doctors’ chambers/clinics/hospitals

  • Book orders from doctors/private service providers, pharmacies, wholesalers, chain stores, hospitals, private clinics, NGOs.

  • Manage the team to properly liaise and coordinate with distributors to ensure delivery of booked stock orders to the customers.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports as per sales representative using the available system.

  • Recruitment of new outlets for MS for MSUG products and building on traditional outlets.

  • Supporting outlets on order booking and coordinating with the Commercial Sales team on product movement.

  • Monitor the performance of recruited outlets and providing support where needed.

  • Ensuring proper documentation with every process and reporting by the team.

  • Review periodically and recommend improvements on the existing distribution structure.

  • Develop a periodic plan for Route To Market activities and implementation.

  • Ensure proper and acceptable branding of outlets and incentive distribution.

  • Monitor the onboarding and performance of Sales force/teams and their performance.

  • Making payment follow ups and reconciliation for product orders placed on credit at the outlets and timely escalations on delayed recoveries.


Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Degree in Biological, Biomedical sciences, or Diploma in pharmacy, Clinical medicine or Nursing from a reputable institution.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with robust pharmaceutical sales and specialisation in sales or marketing of health products.

  • Additional training in pharmaceutical marketing will be an advantage

  • Significant knowledge in Family planning and pharmaceutical sector in Uganda.

  • Valid driving licence.
