Description
To participate in the management of adult cardiovascular patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, admit, attend to, and discharge patients.
Develop patient treatment plans.
Collect data for medical records.
Initiate and carry out investigations.
Update patient records.
Participate in ward rounds and in the specialty area.
Supervise medical interns and trainees.
Person/Job Specifications:
MB.Ch.B. from a recognized university or Master of Science (MSc) in Medicine (Internal Medicine) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
Valid practicing license.
Note: Appointed Medical Officers will undergo a fellowship program for specialization in Cardiology during their tenure of service.
