Associate Consultant - Adult Cardiology
Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat cardiovascular adult conditions.
Implement patient care management plans.
Conduct ward rounds in the specialty area.
Participate in training programmes for all health professionals.
Supervise medical officers, interns, and trainees.
Identify procurement needs of the department for equipment, drugs, and other logistics.
Prepare departmental workplans, budgets, and reports.
Person/Job Specifications:
MB.Ch.B. degree from a recognized university or institution.
Master of Medicine degree (Internal Medicine) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Fellowship training in Adult Cardiology or a Master's in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
Valid practicing license.
Experience:
Working experience of at least three (3) years at a Medical Officer level.
