Fab Creations Ltd, a small manufacturer of foods, beverages and cosmetics in Wakiso district, Uganda, is looking to add a result oriented sales representative to its team. The company produces and sells a range of food condiments to schools under the brand name Shake. The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to central region to service existing school accounts, establish and grow new ones and obtain/fulfill orders.  

Candidates should:

  • Be fluent in English and Luganda.

  • Have a background in sales (having successfully held a sales position before).

  • Be computer literate (specifically know how to use Microsoft word and Excel)

  • Preferably reside in Kampala or Wakiso district and know the territory very well

  • Have a valid driving permit

  • Have a good work ethic and be highly organized.

  • Have a diploma in a related field

  • Identify, open up and grow new accounts

  • Present, promote and sell products to new and existing accounts

  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Plan, execute and submit reports of marketing activations in schools

  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
