Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist the sales manager with sales strategy development and implementation.

  • Cascade company objectives into clear team goals and individual KPIs

  • Coach/groom the sales personnel and ensure that they are well equipped on sales techniques and strategies and are able to achieve set sales targets in the assigned sectors.

  • Lead the sales team in championing a customer-centric culture with intimate knowledge of customer needs and purchase cycles through regular customer visits and interactions.

  • Implement and maintain a daily prospect tracking and follow-up system.

  • Help the team set aggressive, but realistic, monthly, and quarterly objectives and provide them with the support required to attain those objectives.

  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics

  • Direct and schedule the activities of the team, ensuring proper staffing at all times.

  • Ensure team members maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.

  • Promote kaizen culture in sales processes with a view of continuously improving on speed and efficiencies.

  • Coordinate and ensure sales team adherence to record-keeping processes to support compliance and data-driven insights
