We’re hiring: HR Generalist
On-site
Full-time, 8-hour workday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST
This dual-function role provides HR generalist support and administers employee leave programs. You will act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and managing all aspects of leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leaves.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of HR experience; 2+ years administering leave programs.
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and federal/state leave regulations.
HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
Responsibilities
HR Generalist Support
Serve as the main contact for client HR inquiries.
Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Review and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
Support HR Business Partners with assessments and projects.
Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws.
Provide administrative support including scheduling, reporting, and organizing HR events.
Leave of Absence Administration
Administer FMLA, ADA, state leaves, military leave, and company-sponsored programs.
Act as the main contact for employees and managers regarding leave eligibility.
Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and third-party administrators.
Track and maintain accurate leave documentation.
Provide timely notifications, approvals, denials, and return-to-work communications.
Support ADA accommodations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Prepare reports and metrics related to leave activity.
