Description
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
- Execute precise installation, including gas welding, for Split AC units.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Operate chillers, air handling units, chilled water pumps, split air-conditioning units, and package units to ensure effective cooling, while maintaining accurate operational logs.
- Adhere to safety procedures related to maintenance and engineering activities.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Relevant work experience / Qualification
- Possession of a Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or a recognized Trade Test Certification.
- 3-6 years of practical work experience as an AC Technician or in a similar HVAC-related role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with diverse HVAC systems, including Air Conditioners, Refrigerator units, and heating pump systems.
- Strong practical skills in connecting pipes, precise copper pipe brazing, and effective duct insulation.
